Lean Burn works by using real-time computer processes and sensors to optimise fuel delivery by predicting the amount of fuel you’ll need to get where you need to go. It delivers a precise mixture of fuel to the engine allowing it to run on a more efficient fuel mixture through the use of a lean air-fuel ratio. This achieves remarkable improvements in fuel consumption ensuring you get the most out of every drop.
Lean Burn was first introduced on the DF70A/80A/90A to great acclaim and is available across the range of “A” Series in both our Midrange and High Performance engines and the DF100B. Combined with Suzuki Precision Control, Lean Burn can deliver the optimum fuel/air mixture to the engine and is designed to save fuel both at low speeds and up into the cruising range.
